- 3 difficulties – Easy, normal, and hard.
- Tutorial pop-ups as you play.
- Save when you want.
- Outfits can be found and equipped from the menu and pay homage to the films and comic books.
- 3 save slots.
- The soundtrack is one of the best I have ever seen from Frank ie Goes To Hollywood to Twisted Sister and A-Ha.
- Visor – use it to scan items, the environment, and enemies for tactical and interactive advantages.
- Components – found in the levels and used for crafting.
- Workbench – here you can upgrade your visor, suit, and guns.
- Photo mode is complete with all the options like posing characters, depth of field, aperture, chromatic aberration, and more.
- Earn EXP and level up to get ability points. Spend these on a character to unlock jew abilities.
- Perks can be crafted and equipped at workbenches.
- At certain intervals, you can choose what you say or do in situations and conversations. (optional)
- The banter between the team is well written and executed keeping the feel from the movie.
- Beautiful locations.
- When in a conversation, if you walk off they add in dialogue and stop what they are talking about.
- Qte can happen.
- Seamless transition from cutscenes to gameplay and vice versa.
- Uses vibration to increase the atmosphere.
- Call to action prompt – if you manage to build your momentum meter then you do a quick high damage team attack.
- It’s just so much dam fun to play.
- Slight puzzle elements.
- Expands the Marvel universe.
- Get to fly the Famous Milano.
- Combat gets very flashy and chaotic and it’s to its strengths.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Game Review Cons:
- Not the actors from the voices of the film.
- You only play as Star-Lord.
- QTE sucks and they have many types and you are never sure which is which.
- Had a few instances of getting stuck in scenery or hitting an invisible wall that teleported me back into an enemy.
- The combat is definitely the weakest part of the game.
