Cons:

  • You cannot jump between characters to try them out or change them up.
  • Only one save and it’s tied to the current character.
  • Hitting an enemy then puts them in a flashing invincible state for a few seconds.
  • You can just double jump over the platforms and finish levels in seconds.
  • No chest drop animations.
  • All loot is pointless and just for a score that means nothing.
  • No leaderboards.
  • No replay value.
  • Levels all start feeling the same.
  • Animations of characters are over-animated making it hard to judge jumps.
  • Very basic platformer.
  • Bosses can be beaten easily just by standing next to them and spamming your specials.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
