Horatio Goes Snowboarding Review Pros:

  • Nice graphics.
  • 707.1MB download size.
  • 1000 Gamerscore.
  • Snowboarding gameplay, race down a slope and go through the gates to score.
  • Earn cash and buy health.
  • Mini-game at the start of every run where you need to make it down the town Crossy road style and enter the helicopter.
  • Falling off or failing will put you back to the town and you lose 100 bucks at the hospital and you have to re-buy a new board.
  • On the slopes, you can do basic stunts by jumping off ramps, hitting gates, and chaining a combo along with the ability to knock people off their skies.
  • The best score is shown on the main screen.
  • The endless mode can be unlocked and played.
  • An amazing soundtrack as it’s pure techno drum and bass Bombs.
  • Can Invert axis.
  • Controls are just moving around with the sticks.

Horatio Goes Snowboarding Review Cons:

  • No actual tutorial.
  • No real game settings.
  • Takes a bit of getting used to as you play from the perspective of Horatio coming towards you instead of the traditional behind Horatio and going downhill.
  • Doesn’t support online leaderboards.
  • Short-lived experience.
  • No story and it’s just a weird mix of Crossy Road and a runner.
  • Earning cash is slow and spending it is expensive.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
