Summary

Right here we go, I need to articulate my words without just blurting out tits and jet skis.! Well, to be fair I’ve said it now so it will probably happen again. Right well, Kandagawa Jet Girls is a racing game with combat elements. How it works is you have a team of two girls on a jet ski with one a driver and the other is the shooter. You race around a track and race and shoot your way to victory! You can hit speed boosts, ramps and do tricks, drive through rings, and shoot beach balls to build your EPD gauge and do turbo boosts. The tricks are simple but are OK, shooting varies as there are 9 weapon types and they all act differently, you can shoot in all directions and despite shooting backward being an over sensitive mess, it works well especially when you use the lock on shooting type. Get your EPD gauge to the max and you can do a special move with or without being adapted by the currently equipped weapon. The game is fine to play, it has a lot of instances of slowdown, the tracks are not that outlandish unlike the colorful cast of characters. You unlock difficulties/tracks/clothing/jet ski upgrades by playing the story mode or doing the mini-games. Online is standard pick a race and go type deal. The story mode is just a case of doing race after race with a cutscene every so often as it attempts to inject a story to care about but it doesn’t work. But we better just address to fair, Boobs are everywhere with new clothing making more skin visible, if you prefer less NSFW in your games then this may not be for you, it’s laid on and laid on thick. Overall Kandagawa Jet Girls is a standard racing game with mega chesticle ladies all over it, the story is forgettable, the tracks are pretty plain but the characters are a colorful bunch!

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
