Knight Vs Giant The Broken Excalibur Review Cons:
- The early game is very repetitive and only gets broken once you get a lucky build or lucky upgrade.
- Uses the same level layouts over and over.
- Even when you go to new locations it still feels the same.
- Enemies feel like they are all the same and just have a reskin.
- You hit a clear brick wall at one point, you need special items to unlock the needed upgrades, you need extra people to continue doing up the kingdom but it takes so much time to finish.
- No camera control which is fine but some boss fights have the camera so far out that it’s hard to play and avoid attacks.
- Hit detection is not great, being too close can have you doing no damage.
- The same scenarios pop up time and time again.
- It relies on luck way too much.

Summary
Knight Vs Giant The Broken Excalibur is a hack-and-slash game with an easy-to-learn control scheme and a variety of accessibility options. The game features a tutorial and ongoing pop-ups to guide players. The gameplay settings include options such as showing damage, language selection, hold to attack, HP bar, and enemy indicator.
The game’s currency system involves gold and soul orbs, dropped by enemies, which are used for upgrades and purchases. Players can equip their character, Arthur, with one weapon and one weapon skill at a time, chosen at the Lancelot statue or other knights.
The game world includes roundtables offering random blessings, fountains for healing, and the ability to fast-travel to cleared rooms. The kingdom serves as the main hub where players return after each run or death. Upgrading weapons requires gold and EXP.
However, the game has some drawbacks. The early game can be repetitive with similar level layouts and enemy types. Progress can hit a wall requiring special items for necessary upgrades. Some boss fights suffer from camera issues, and hit detection can be inconsistent. The game relies heavily on luck, which might not appeal to all players. Overall I found Knight Vs Giant The Broken Excalibur to be fine in places and it got an idea but it never fully realises it.
