Summary
Based on a Thai TV show, I thought I would get quite an in-depth and filled-out hack and slash platformer. In reality, it’s a good story spread out over pages of text, sparse open levels with very little going on. The combat is just not that great, it needed a kick up the ass for speed and fluidity to it. It just always felt like I was underpowered no matter how I played or upgraded. That’s the thing here, it tried to play it safe and it went so safe that it’s now gone too far, with limited enemies and poor level design it just felt like I couldn’t get better or upgrade to help out with a boss. You can literally get stick fighting the same section over r and overdoing little damage and the boss doing huge damage. I wanted to like it because it’s a good idea and does have lush locations but it never felt like a cohesive experience and that dampened my desire to play it.
