Legends BMX Review Pros:

  • Decent graphics.
  • 1.22GB Download size.
  • Steam achievements.
  • Full controller support.
  • Video settings – graphics quality, resolution, and screen mode.
  • Four parks to unlock and play – Waverider Arena, Sunset Jam, Beachside Blaze, and Megapipe.
  • Two playable characters – Troy (male) and Riley (female).
  • Online leaderboards with three filters – daily, weekly, and all-time.
  • Opening tutorial section.
  • Bmx stunt runs gameplay.
  • The controls are tight and responsive, it feels good to pull off tricks.
  • Great ragdoll and crash effects.
  • You can do aerial, ground, and grind tricks.
  • Pick a park and just ride around until you trigger the time attack.
  • Five BMX colors to choose from.
  • Time attack mode can be triggered at any time and your score goes into the online leaderboards.
  • Handling and pulling off moves is just as simple and flowing as a Tony Hawk’s game, the only real difference is how the animations work making it hard to judge air time.
  • It’s a great little time waster.
  • I am really looking forward to what comes next, this is an excellent first step.

Legends BMX Review Cons:

  • No volume controls, it’s music or no music.
  • There are no actual graphic options outside of quality.
  • Some learning time is needed for the controls just because it doesn’t use familiar controls of other game sin the genre.
  • At times the animations mess up your timings and you can suddenly snap to another part of the bowl.
  • Limited in terms of game modes.
  • No actual progression.
  • Doesn’t offer any story mode or anything.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
