• Isometric/Top down racer gameplay.
• Three modes of play: Single player (career), Local play, and online play. Four modes if you include the ever-changing weekly challenge option.
• Includes all previously released DLC, Elite class DLC, Battle-Cars DLC, and Snowbound tracks.
• Four camera options.
• Solid 60fps action.
• Earn EXP and level up to unlock new cars.
• Cross-platform support. Can be turned off. On leaderboards, A Nintendo Switch logo shows next to those players on the leaderboard.
• Earn cogs to unlock new events.
• Career is spread across 3 seasons consisting of every type of race event. You have a level-select map and can pick your route or replay a previous race. It is also possible to unlock bonus upgrades by completing blocks of races.
• Tight handling model. The game relies heavily on a drift mechanic and it works really well.

• No touchscreen support
• The music is not great and it all sounds the same.
• The slowdown in local play.
• Local play reduces the text size to unreadable levels.
• Some of the camera angles just do not work at all.
