Moolander Preview Cons:

  • No Steam achievements. (obviously as its a demo but still, leave no doubt)
  • The mouse cursor stays on the screen even when using the controller.
  • Music doesn’t quite fit the scenes portrayed.
  • You get no tutorial help or button icons.
  • Never sure what can and cannot hit you or you hit them.
  • Enemies can attack and hit you while in cutscenes.
  • Had an instance where a small cutscene happens when you open the door and the mechanism you use would keep getting knocked in and out of place causing an annoying loop of cutscenes.
  • Slight performance hits.
  • Pacing is a bit all over the place.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
