Summary

NEOGEO Pocket is back once again and this time it has bought its friends! This is the definitive collection of SNK games and it’s a perfect fit on the Switch, gimmicks wise it’s the same as the previous games so for those out of the loop, you get eight NEOGEO Pocket console skins and a ninth no-skin option, you can rewind games and comes with a handy time bar, the games load fast and you can adjust and resize the console on screen. I loved playing the previous games so to have them and more is an absolute dream, I get to experience games I missed out on, games I played previously, and generally get a good kick out of it. Kinda sucks for die-hard fans though as the collection will have games that have already been released but it’s a small price to pay. I wish it had more options and out-the-box ideas for console skins and filters and maybe even a seperate history part but make no mistake, NEOGEO Pocket Color Selection Vol 2 is a worthy addition to your games catalog.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
