With our Phantom Breaker Omnia Review, we take to the arena in this fast-paced 2-D anime fighting game that features 20 unique characters, pitted against one another to make their greatest wishes come true. The ability to choose between 3 fighting styles will appeal to seasoned gamers while making the game accessible to newcomers

Phantom Breaker Omnia Review Pros:

Awesome Anime graphics.
12.5GB download size.
1000 Gamerscore.
Own in-game achievements and they pop up on the screen as you earn them.
English and/or Japanese voice work.
The soundtrack can be set to original or remix.
Can rebind controls.
Four difficulties – very easy, easy, normal, and hard. You can set the difficulty for each individual mode that supports the CPU.
Input lag slider.
Game reference is a collection of help from game manuals to practice.
Five game modes – Story, single-player, online, vs and training.
Fighting gameplay.
Phantom Breaker Prologue option.
Style is where each has 3 styles that alter their playstyle, you have hard, quick, and Omnia.
In story mode, you have to choose a character and then do a particular task within the fight in order to advance.
In-game cutscenes with voicework.
Can fast forward cutscenes.
Looks and plays really well.
Combo counter.
Even button mashers can pull off magnificent-looking combos and hold their own.
Profile card is customizable with avatars unlocked and you can show off five of your awards.
Play data is your full stats.
Online leaderboards for each game mode.
The gallery is unlocked images.

Single-player has four modes – score attack, time attack, endless battle, and arcade.
Online has player and ranked matches. Each mode has room settings for room name, restrictions, region, connection speed, tutorials, round count, round time, and comments.
Vs mode has 1p V 2p, 1p V CPU, and CPU V CPU.

You can play with a single Joycon each.
19 locations to fight in.
Fast loading times.
The game can be as accessible or as detailed as you want so it accommodates all types of players.

Phantom Breaker Omnia Review Cons:

In story mode, you cannot bring up your character’s moves and attacks.
The buttons are just marked with lp and hp which is not always ideal.
The story has weird little tasks to do in order to progress and it is not great at explaining it all.
Cannot just straight-up skip cutscenes.
