Summary

Pippu Bauble Quest is a lovable platformer with a mechanic whereby you can change into other animals to interact with the level in a different way. Your goal is to collect all coins and baubles on the level, the levels are quite big so you can do some exploring. Enemies can be killed in multiple ways from animal attacks to lasers to jumping on their heads. I would say that despite looking basic and kinda cartoony, it is a brutal platformer as you go for 100 percent on it as the hazards are treacherous and the game does have a hitbox issue. I enjoyed my short time with the game as it’s very chilled out for a few levels but it ramps up and becomes a mission all in its own. Overall Pippu Bauble Quest is a fine little platformer with some neat tricks.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
