Punch Club sells $1m across iOS and Steam, coming to Android on January 28th

tinyBuild Games has announced that Punch Club, the publisher’s latest release from Russian developer Lazy Bear Games, has grossed more than $1 million in sales in 10 days, eclipsing 100,000 sales across all platforms.

The game released on Steam on January 8 after Twitch Plays Punch Club was completed (PC Gamer recap, Polygon post-mortem), and then released on  iOS on January 14, with fantastic reception from both the PC gaming and mobile gaming communities.

And this is far from the end of the story for Punch Club, as tinyBuild has big plans for the title:

  • Punch Club will release on Android (Google Play) on January 28
  • iOS build will be updated very soon to match Steam’s balanced version
  • A huge content update is in the works, ETA end of February, that will expand upon the original storyline

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
