- Decent graphics.
- 921MB download size.
- Platinum trophy.
- You get the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5 versions of the game.
- 3 save slots.
- Cutesy animated cutscenes and in game sequences.
- 3rd person action platformer gameplay.
- Tutorial pop ups as you play.
- Photo mode.
- Coins are around the level and collected to be used for lives, when you die you lose a percentage.
- Chess tiles are what you are looking for, 64 total.
- Has a Banjo and Crash type feel to the gameplay.
- Wide open levels with many secrets and alternate routes.
- Big boss battles.
- Chests can be found and some require you to find a key first.
- Unlock and equip different costumes.
- Three health parts and Collect fire bugs to replenish health.
- Three actions – jump, ground pound and throw items like pumpkins, apples etc.
- Different enemy types that are killed in different ways like some can be ground pounded whilst some may have to be stunned with fruit first.
- Mushrooms are explosive and cause an area of effect which can hurt you and Break rocks.
- A lot of platforming.
- Great looking locations.
- Chessbpiecea and collectible troll like statues to find.
- Your hone is the central place where it fills up as you find tiles, chess pieces statues, and clothing.
- Upbeat happy soundtrack.
- Mini game that has you picking 3 chess pieces and then checking in later to see if you won anything.
- Memorable characters.
- The controls are tight.
- Easy to learn controls.
- Fornmw the game plays like an introductory experience into the genre, 3rd action games.
- World map level select and you can freely walk around the map.
- As the new levels unlock the co you need to open the door to them by collecting X amount of tiles and chess pieces.
- The trophies are also displayed in a game menu.
Raccoo Venture Review Cons:
- No game settings.
- Cannot rebind controls.
- You cannot skip the opening cutscenes.
- It takes a while to get used to the combat.
- Mushrooms and throwing anything is a coin flip as to of it hits anyone.
- Hard to judge jumps as you have no shadow really.
- Not a lot to justify risking your lives to get coins etc.
- Boss fights are just tedious and not that satisfying.
- Little replay value.
