Summary

The game impresses with its console-quality graphics and manageable download size of 3.74GB. Notable features include Google Play achievements and support for controllers, with Google Cloud integration ensuring save data is backed up. It offers full touchscreen support, housing the complete game and all released DLCs. The action-adventure gameplay is enhanced by tutorial pop-ups, while co-op multiplayer support is a fantastic addition. Players can choose between three combat difficulties—easy, normal, and hard—and benefit from an intuitive twin-stick shooting mechanic that eliminates the need to press a fire button.

Beautiful locations set the stage for a blend of puzzles and combat, with hidden collectibles adding to the allure. The isometric camera view in a fully 3D game world creates an immersive landscape mode experience. Customizable touch controls and gesture options for actions like jumping and rolling offer players flexibility. The game caters to diverse preferences with a power saver mode and the option to activate fancy graphics. Subtitles support and a handy how-to-play section further enhance accessibility, and the in-game character interactions and FMV sequences add to the narrative depth.

Each level comes with a set of objectives that can be replayed, and the game works flawlessly with a controller, automatically adjusting prompts and menu icons when one is plugged in. While single-player mode is enjoyable, co-op play enriches the experience further. Labelled as the definitive version, the game shines with well-designed, satisfying puzzles. However, it has some drawbacks. The game offers only 12 achievements, including DLCs. Frequent crashes disrupt gameplay, requiring immediate shutdowns. The inability to remap controller controls, and occasional visibility issues due to screen size and darkness are other downsides. Additionally, there’s no real advancement in the game—it’s merely a complete package.

In conclusion, this game blends impressive visuals and engaging gameplay elements, offering a rich experience with minor setbacks. Despite the flaws, it’s a great pick for both single and multiplayer enthusiasts, making this not only the best co-op game on Android but also one of the ports of a game on Android.
