Summary

The Revenge of Noxi is my surprise hit of the month! It doesn’t necessarily look amazing but it plays really well, it has a strong original Shinobi feel to it but in a way is better as it has crazy screen-filling special abilities and the animations, man the animations and fluidity of jumping to sliding to jump kicks is really impressive and cool as shit when you pull it all off. Offering only a handful of levels I sat through the whole game in one sitting and was left wanting more, I had a lot of gripes with a few enemy designs like the ones that appear as a hand and grab at you but that’s more because I never found a solid way of getting rid or avoiding them. No, as it is this game is really solid and a lot of fun and you honestly should give it a try.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
