Ayumi, the gorgeous gun and sword-wielding treasure hunter, sets out on a journey to an ancient island in search of new adventures. While rich in bounty, the island is also filled with the magic of Chaos, being at the same time home to bloodthirsty monsters.

Pros:

  • Really nice graphics.
  • 3.2gb download size.
  • Touchscreen support.
  • Options-text size, invert axis, brightness, and subtitles.
  • Two modes-Story and outbreak.
  • Constant tutorial pop-ups.
  • Outbreak mode-tutorial, store, character and has its own achievements system, daily login.
  • Can skip any cutscene.
  • The story mode has 3 difficulties-easy, normal and hard.
  • Outbreak-is an online MOBA style game where its 1v1 and you must take each other tower down.
  • Outbreak-earn exp and level up to unlock new unlocks/rewards and skills.
  • Outbreak-unlocks and upgrades are on a real-time timer and you can use earned gems to speed it up.
  • Outbreak shop-skins, weapons, offers, jewelry, gold, and consumables.
  • Action adventure gameplay.
  • Full decent voice work.
  • Time manipulation gimmick- You can rewind time but still have your previous self fighting. You do this to have several version of you shooting or attacking a set target.
  • Hidden collectibles.
  • Big ass boss fights.
  • Wide variety of cool enemy types.
  • Really nice well-crafted locations.
  • Ranged and melee attacks.
  • The game moves and plays like Bayonetta but the shooting feels like Bullet Witch.
  • Compass-shows objective marker but also shows any hidden chests.
  • Decent and easy enough to play.
  • Combo type of system.
  • In engine cutscenes.

Blades of Time

Cons:

  • A couple of hard crashes.
  • The outbreak has no offline or Ai matches.
  • The outbreak is a straight search for a game, no filters or invites system.
  • The touchscreen is sporadic and only works on random menus.
  • Infuriating clunky controls.
  • Camera struggles to keep up.
  • A lot of slowdowns.
  • No achievements in the story mode.
  • Over the top fall damage.
  • Possible to fall or get knocked back a large chunk of a level.
  • Outbreak just feels a bit flat.
  • A lot of difficulty spikes in story mode.
