Konami’s Castlevania Anniversary Collection traces the origins of the historic vampire franchise. Included is a unique eBook with details provided by developers, artists, and others inspired by the Castlevania legacy which sheds a fresh light into the world of Castlevania.
Pros:
- Multiple graphic genres from 8 bit to 16 bit.
- 624.9mb download size.
- 14 trophies.
- 8 games- Castlevania, Castlevania Simons Quest, Dracula’s Curse, Super Castlevania 4, Castlevania Adventure, Belmonts Revenge, Bloodlines, and Kid Dracula.
- Bonus book- goes into depth of the history of Castlevania, the individual games along with high res box art and interviews.
- Options menu available in all games where you tweak display, replays, settings, etc.
- Save/watch replays. In fact, the game is always recording so you just save as and when.
- 6 display settings–you get the now standard options 16:9,4:3 and pixel perfect with scan line options. But games like the Gameboy ones allow you to have green screen and black and white filters.
- 3 frames-black, Castlevania art, and red.
- State save/load.
- Replay options-frame by frame, rewind, fast forward, save and display bar.
- Each game in the main menu has a synopsis and screenshot.

Cons:
- No platinum trophy.
- Gameboy games have a slowdown.
- No cheats menu.
- No online interactions.
- Can’t change the controls unless the game allows it plus it is displayed in the native buttons so ABXY.
- Doesn’t use the touchpad.
