Review: Drive!Drive!Drive! (Steam)

Drive!Drive!Drive! is a racing game unlike any other, where players must drive their cars to victory across multiple tracks at the same time.

Pros:

  • Lush futuristic graphics.
  • Full controller support.
  • Opening training section.
  • Gameplay sees you driving multiple cars over multiple tracks at the same time!
  • Steam achievements.
  • Ten cars to unlock, Each one has unique stats.
  • Seven modes to choose from: Campaign, Offensive, Community tracks, My tracks, Multiplayer, Free race campaign and free race offensive.
  • Slick UI, Clutter free play screen. Boost shows behind the actual car for example.
  • Campaign has a world map, Choose any unlocked race and pick from one of three difficulties: Normal, Skilled and elite. Unlock new tracks and cars in this mode.
  • Multiple race types: Race, Time trial, Collect crystals and purist.
  • Earn boost by drifting, Smashing other cars or jumping.
  • Three camera views: Near, Far and in car.
  • Supports five languages: English, French, Germany, Italian and Spanish.
  • Graphic options: Resolution, Fullscreen/windowed, Quality fast or beautiful.
  • Full track creator- Everything is unlocked, Its easy to use and a lot of fun. You cannot upload/publish your track until you personally finish the race.
  • Small download size: 395mb.
  • Multiplayer: Create/join options, Set race, Style, Difficulty.
  • Over 50 races in campaign with a bonus set of campaign races bringing the total closer to 100.
  • Quick reset and restart buttons.
  • Unlock and choose racing teams to add logos to your car.
  • Some really great looking levels.
  • Very easy to learn.
  • Fast frantic game that is surprisingly fun to play.
  • Soundtrack is fantastic using a retro beaty type ensemble.

Cons:

  • Very minimal graphic options.
  • No invite friend option.
  • Team choices dont seem to offer anything but cosmetic changes.
  • Music as good as it is seems limited. Like only a few tracks on constant loop.
  • Later levels get brutal.
