Pros:
- Graphics have had a touch up and look even better. Lighting has improved immensely.
- Three difficulties.
- 2.4GB file download.
- Use your character save from the main game.
- You can jump straight into the DLC. Its separate but they do stress that you should be at least level 12 in order to survive.
- Countryside: Whole new huge area. A lot of open space but still housing a wide selection of sub areas. From towns and villages to factories and farms, Even sewers, castles and mansions make an appearance.
- Buggy: New way to travel around. You can find collectibles to customize your ride. Unlock new parts to improve performance. You can unlock new weapons like flame throwers and dropping mines.
- Handling is really tight and responsive.
- Driver level: Increase your level by earning exp by driving fast, Jumps, smashing up fences/cones etc and of course loads of exp for running over zombies.
- New story rank. Earn exp for the new DLC story which unlock new outfits and crossbows.
- Then new PSN trophies.
- Recall buggy. At safe zones you can use the radio to reset your buggy position within the safe zone.
- Can still earn main game trophies within the DLC.
- New blueprints.
- New weapons.
- More collectibles including the racing trophies, notes and now paint jobs and bobble heads for your buggy.
- Races mini game. Find the posters and go do racing events for upgrades and exp. Aside from racing you can do carnage events where you need to kill as many zombies as possible within the time limit.
- Freaks of nature. Huge powerful zombies that randomly spawn inthe world. They hold great loot but take a lot of skill to take down.
- Military boxes are next level loot chests. Rare to find, The boxes house rare blueprints and always have decent fire arms and ammo.
- Legendary rank. once you max out a skill tree you can now get access to another new skill tree.
- Many new side missions. They vary from fetch quests to finding missing persons or clearing out infestations.
- You can unlock and find new safe zones.
- Towers: House a few pick ups but can also have rare vendors setting u shop in them. These are where you spawn if you die.
- New ways to scavenge. Now you can take fuel from cars and also check under the bonnet for car parts. Car parts are used to repair,craft or upgrade buggy parts. Fuel is to umm make the buggy move.
- Solid story with at least 20 hours gamepaly.

Cons:
- Map can be hard to read at times.
- Difficulty spikes.
- Alot of fetch quests.
- Buggy can get stuck quite a bit.
- Resetting the buggy is a long task, Also it always puts you back in the buggy as opposed to just flipping it over.
- A lot of filler between DLC story missions. Basically make it up yourself and try earn your exp in order to trigger the next story mission.
- Houses and settlement assets et re used so it can feel samey.
