- Very much a fan service and very respectable to the film franchise.
- So much fun to play.
- When you hear Jason’s Ki Ki Ki Ma Ma Ma it means you has another ability.
- EXP also generates CP which is used to roll for perks. Each character can have 3 perks and Jason can have 4 death unlocks.
- Perks- A lot of perks to randomly collect. From things like spawn with an item to faster regen of stamina to being able to fix faster. All perks are ranked from common to epic and each time a perk rolls it gives you different stats.
- Fixing the phone or vehicles trigger a mini game where its a QTE and messing up slows you down and also makes more noise.
- Jason can see noise thanks to indicators on screen. Pulsating circles show the direction of the noise and how much.
- Crouching will limit how much noise you make but you walk so slowly.
- When Jason is close by the music will play, Unless he has stalk as stalk will stop the music playing.
- Jason deaths range from throwing people through windows to knocking their head off to a fireplace smash and punching someones chest out. Gruesome but awesome.
- Controls are easy enough to get used too.
- You can call in back up in the form of Tommy Jarvis. A random dead or escaped counselor will come back as him and you are armed with a shotgun.
- Attacks- You can stun Jason with flare guns, Fire crackers or shotguns and weapons. It is possible to kill Jason but good luck with that.
- Spawn preference option- Choose to just be a counselor or Jason or either. Who plays Jason each game is random and no way of defiantly being him.
- Addictive.
Cons:
- Graphics do look a little dated in same places.
- Long waiting times.
- Pressing PS button when matchmaking will cancel it.
- No mute all button.
- Only one control scheme.
- No host migration.
- Lot of random disconnects.
- Lag.
- Hit detection is bad coupled with Jason having a ridiculous grab move.
- Glitches like ragdolling, Walking through walls.
- Can team kill.
- No clear fear based meter. Instead you have to look at your face to see.
- No single player or offline (It is coming)
- Same cut scene at the start and finish of each game.

Summary
This game is no looker but my God it has the gameplay! Its basically hide and seek with gore but it is so much fun to play. The atmosphere is absolutely nailed and the whole idea of survival and escape is brilliant. Playing as Jason is really fun and just hearing people freak out as you take the lights out is next level. You can troll you can work together or go solo but man its just such a blast to play. I hope they get the single player right and we really need more stability for the servers. Once that happens we have a real contender going on here. In short do not let the graphics or idea put you off, This game is extremely playable and a ton of fun with friends or strangers.
