- Play- Kind of the story mode. 12 chapters to unlock covering all the films eras. 13 levels within each chapter.
- Puzzle gameplay, Slide Jason around and take out the counselors.
- Weapons- Earn bloodlust and level up to get a crate that has a handful of weapons.
- Weapon rarity- Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
- Can trade 3 weapons in for a random one.
- Can rewind time in the game to undo moves or just restart.
- Tutorial pops up as you play.
- Easy to get into.
- Can replay levels.
- Death cutscenes are gory yet hilarious.
- Final bonus kill pops up and triggers a stop the arrow in the marked area mini-game for bonus bloodlust.
- Unlock new Jason outfits as you play.
- Great brain workout.
- Terrific soundtrack. Marathon mode has a rock playlist.
- Pause menu has a dedicated ki-ki-ki-naa-maa button.
- Murder marathon- Endurance/endless mode where you are doing the final bonus kill mini-game over and over.
- Daily death- Random level, Do 13 days in a row for a bonus outfit.
- Earn bloodlust in all modes.
- Introduces new mechanics over time.
- Plays well.
- The humor throughout usually delivered from Mother the floating head.

Cons:
- No leaderboards.
- No hint system.
- Can’t skip levels in any way.
- Replaying levels is not very beneficial.
- Can get very repetitive.
