Summary
I’m not sure exactly what I wanted from this game. I suppose if pushed I would say I was after a good story but decent levels and a fun atmosphere with interesting combat and maybe a hook or twist to distinguish it from the many platformers out there. What I got was an alright story, the combat is not that bad, bland but not bad and each encounter was fine. The movement, however, was very juddering and sluggish and when you match that up with the constant long loading times, it makes for a very slow and unrewarding experience. The map is there but lacks anything to actually help with progress and to be honest, I had very little oomph to actually make progress. It all felt either flat and bland or slow and waiting on loading times.
