Summary
So I won’t lie, I saw parts of the film and when I heard I was playing the game of it, I shuddered as I thought it would be a case of looking nice but lacking anything decent. WRONG the game looks really good but it backs it up with a solid Metroidvania experience. Exploring the huge land is full of mystery as you stumble across rooms with new gear, Take out enemies and bring down the bosses. I love the death idea, Having them come back and come after you is such a cool thing and one that really sets the game apart. If you are looking for a solid action platforming in the vein of Metroid but the combat of Contra then this is for you. Don’t judge the game on the film and enjoy this wonderful title.
