As a unique child born with the powers of the ancient dragons, your parents cast you from the stricken surface into the land above the skies.

Cons:

  • Controls are really hard to grasp at first.
  • Camera sometimes has a mind of its own.
  • Hard to see/judge platforms as the game does a lot of darkness.
  • Orbs don’t stay up that long at all in the beginning.
  • Can have moments of feeling lost or stuck.

Summary

oure will be grouped under the Journey banner and that is by no means a bad thing. It is, however, a bit more engaging than Journey from a gameplay point of view. The flying around uncovering set pieces and working out routes is an absolute blast, I love the whole look and feel of the game. Yes, I struggled a lot with the controls, Its for me, The way the dragon moves I tend to input a control when I think I should but in fact shouldn’t. It is just a weird early game thing that soon passes. For me I would say its only like Journey in the way that it is a must play the game and full of emotion and adventure. Play how you want and go where you want but marvel at the puzzles you find and solve. A true gem of a game and everyone needs to play it.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
