Outbuddies is a game that is full of nostalgia, from the graphics to the way the game plays out. It’s a game full of mystery and you play it how you want in a lot of ways. Progress can be slow but when you get a new ability it opens up the game even more. The Metroid references are clear, the menu structure is kind of chaotic but the Co-op play makes the game a lot more fun especially with the many puzzle elements and enemies. Outbuddies surprised me with how it all came together and just sucks you into the world.
