Review: Rage in Peace (Steam)

Rage in Peace is a story-driven action adventure with elements of surprise and memorization. Unravel the last day of Timmy’s life, as he races against time to get back home and fulfill his sole dream of dying peacefully in his pajamas, in the warmth of home, in peace, and with no drama.

Pros:

  • Cartoon graphics.
  • Graphics options- Resolution, Quality preset, Fullscreen, and V-Sync.
  • Controller support.
  • Three save slots.
  • Goldfish mode- Makes the game easier.
  • Tutorial as you play.
  • Platformer gameplay.
  • You need to jump and avoid danger.
  • Simple one button controls.
  • Instant restarts.
  • Fast loading.
  • Unlock new abilities as you progress.
  • Games main selling point is level layout memory.
  • Difficult.
  • 2024MB Download size.
  • Steam achievements.
  • Stats section with a running timer.
  • Death counter on screen.
  • Every death brings up a death certificate detailing your grisly end.

Cons:

  • Difficult.
  • Not a lot of reaction time.
  • Little to no replayability.
