  • Three screen filter settings. CRT with scan lines basically.
  • Combat tutorial, Available to re read the tutorial from the pause screen.
  • Gameplay is a 2D hack n slash platformer with a huge Castlevania feel to it.
  • Three save slots.
  • Can change settings in pause menu.
  • Controller has 2 presets and a custom one so you can create your own.
  • Can re bind keys on keyboard as well as the fore mentioned controller.
  • Clever combat system. You can parry, Charge attack and use mana attacks.
  • Big boss battles.
  • Checkpoints throughout the levels.
  • Slick animations.
  • Very atmospheric.
  • Huge collection of enemies each with unique attacks.
  • Simple control scheme.
  • The game is very accessible and takes just minutes to get to grips with it all.

  • Controller can have a few connection issues.
  • Not a fan of heavy metal.
  • Constant difficulty spikes.
  • Basic graphic options.
  • Some dubious level design issues.
  • Controller feels a bit loose and twitchy.
  • Hit registration can be a bit off at times especially with airborne enemies.
  • Enemies attack through walls.
