Review: Tooth and Tail (PlayStation 4)
The War for Meat — The Longcoats, the Commonfolk, the KSR, and the Civilized are in the midst of a Civil War over who gets to eat, and who has to be the meat. A darkly humorous tale of riots and revolution is told through an extensive Single Player campaign.

- Two game modes- Story mode and multiplayer.
- MP- Ranked, Unranked and local splitscreen.
- Platinum trophy.
- Posh pixel graphics.
- Help/tutorial section.
- RTS gameplay but oh so much faster.
- Randomly generated maps.
- Brilliant soundtrack.
- Build farms to generate food (currency) Buy turrets, troops etc.
- Simple controls.
- Very very easy to get into.
- Many soldier types from moles to Squirrels to flame throwing rats.
- Burrow- Can explore the map and then burrow back to base or one of your bases.
- Windmills- Take these over to expand your base or make up multiple bases.
- Can replay story missions.
- Tavern- Hub where you can chat with NPC and get story missions.
- Very atmospheric.
- Mission hints.
- Clear UI with a rotating mini map, Soldier selection and currency.
- Map uncovers as you explore.
- A lot of replay value.
- Fun to play.
- MP is actually a lot of fun.
- MP- Supports splitscreen online.
- The game speed really sets it apart.
- Story is well paced and a good place to learn the mechanics.
Cons:
- Difficulty spikes.
- A lot to take in.
- Kind of just throws you in the deep end.
- Tavern relies on you to look all over the place for the next mission.
- Slight adjustment needed as you get to grips with the speed.
