Summary

Windjammers is a brilliant game, It was back in the day and this remastering captures the magic once again. It is a short game for the solo-only players but it really shines when you play either local or online multiplayer. The whole game just feels polished and handled with love. Moves are varied and encourage you to try new things and actually truth be told, They are relatively easy to pull off. In short, this is a spot on a reworking of a classic and an absolute joy to play. It is elevated slightly on the Nintendo Switch thanks to the portability and how easy it is to break the Joycons off and do some local. Bummer on the leaderboard subscription thing but what are you gonna do.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
