Rift Keeper Review Pros:

  • Cool pixel art graphics.
  • 1.25 GB download size.
  • Platinum trophy.
  • Roguelike action platform gameplay.
  • Tutorial.
  • Main hub town where you can use the shops and level up.
  • Gameplay-play through ten separate levels, growing in difficulty, and then face a boss.
  • Levels randomize each run.
  • Feels a bit like low-level Dead cells which is no bad thing.
  • Loot chests-found in a run or given as a reward.
  • Speed run bonus.
  • Earn gold in level.
  • Buy/sell inventory.
  • Totems/statues hit for a random effect.
  • Complete a level by killing 70% of enemies then use the portal out.
  • Level up in the skill tree and s permanent.
  • Collectibles-found in the level and you can trade 5 for a random reward.
  • Loadout-weapon/magic/rings/necklace/broach. They give random effects or change your stats.

Rift Keeper Review

Rift Keeper Review Cons:

  • Annoying one-track music.
  • Can’t do a jump and attack.
  • Basic AI pathfinding.
  • RNG dependant.
  • Slow to get gold/new items.
  • It can be hard to see enemies.
  • No map.
  • It doesn’t explain the whole roguelike part of the game.
