Skyland Rush Air Raid Attack Review Pros:
- Cutesy cartoon graphics.
- 159MB download size.
- Shmup gameplay.
- Autofire is enabled by default.
- Beastiary-shows encountered Bugstars, Guardians, and Titans.
- Upgrades-coins magnet, weapon damage, double coins, flags, and health.
- Coins are found all over the levels and used for upgrading and continuing.
- Flags allow you to continue on the map from the last place you reached.
- Missions-3 at a time and you earn rewards for finishing them with new ones taking the place of completed ones.
- Eight areas to unlock.
- Medals-every Every level/area has a list of medals to earn with tasks like finishing the level, kill X amount of enemies, etc.
- The levels are huge in length and are split into smaller locations on the map.
- Charms-you can equip up to 5 at a time and buy them before a run, Charms are time-based bonuses or effects.
- Looks and animates like a Rayman game.
- Collect eggs to unlock harder Titan encounters.
- Blue coins give more coins per pickup.
- Find and use powerful missile attacks.
- In-game cutscenes.
- You cannot see the map/level until you have played through it.
- The last and best score is shown in each area.
- Shmup for the most of a level but does do an endless runner style avoid obstacles set pieces.
- Locked souls-shoot to collect all 8 of them within a level.
Skyland Rush Air Raid Attack Review Cons:
- Slow starter.
- The game is bad at explaining how everything works.
- Levels are a huge length and not good for commuting gaming.
- Really slow to unlock new levels/areas.
- Coins take a long time to hoard and buy upgrades and charms.
- Cannot turn off the auto fire.
- Only one control layout.
- No touchscreen support.
