Drive the 39.6 meters long vehicle with a maximum speed of 80 km/h through Hamburg and take your passengers safely to their destination. SubwaySim Hamburg Review Pros:

  • Decent graphics.
  • 5.29GB download size.
  • Graphics settings – window mode, resolution, frame rate limit, v-sync, a field of view slider, vehicle field of view slider, graphics quality preset, dynamic resolution, amd HDR support.
  • Can rebind controls.
  • Train Sim gameplay.
  • Two game modes – timetable mode, and expert mode.
  • Timetable mode has four set stations with their own amount of services Barmbek (223 services), Wandsbek – Gartenstadt (202 services), Saarlandstrase (3 services), Barmbek BK (21 services).
  • In timetable mode, you can just opt for a random ride.
  • Expert mode lets you set up your game by changing the – start time, station, track type, track number, vehicle, weather, and Ai trains slider.
  • Ten stations total – Barmbek, Saarlandstrabe, Kellinghusenstrase, Schlump, St Pauli, Baumwall, Rathaus, Berliner Tor, Mundsburg, and Wandsbek – Gartenstadt.
  • Two track types – platform and reverser.
  • Weather types – Sunny and cloudy.
  • Two vehicles – DT5 (2x)and DT (1x).
  • Full 3D drivers cab and you can use keyboard shortcuts to press buttons and move the accelerator.
  • The screen in the driver’s cab shows the camera feed so you can see passengers.
  • Goes in depth with the whole horns, checking and shutting of doors, etc.
  • You can zoom in and out which helps see lights up front.
  • You can turn the Hud on and off with a button press.
  • Handy cab light button to help illuminate the cab when it’s dark.
  • You can go into a different view and fly around the train as it’s moving.
  • Every station feels unique and it’s based on the actual stations.

SubwaySim Hamburg Review Cons:

  • No Steam achievements.
  • Doesn’t support a controller.
  • Fair a few performance issues.
  • You get no tutorials or manuals to help with the controls and mechanics at play so you have to go outside the game.
  • Only offers two trains.
  • The massive learning curve, more so if you haven’t played a train sim before.
