Sword And Fairy Together Forever Review Cons:

  • Skipping cutscenes is a pain in the ass as it’s behind menus and holding down buttons.
  • Only 60 save slots.
  • Does the Gears of War 5 thing where you get extended periods of forced walking.
  • When locked into a mission (especially early on) the game will put up invisible walls everywhere to stop you from wandering off.
  • The mission text is really small and hard to read.
  • Very slow pace.
  • Combat takes some getting used to, especially in terms of dodging attacks.
  • A lot of fetch quests.
  • As nice and atmospheric as the lighting is, it does make seeing Collectibles hard to see.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
