Thyria Review Cons:
- No controller support.
- Bard and Necromancer classes have a warning that playing as them makes the game lore and story incompatible with them.
- No settings for the mouse like sensitivity or Invert axis.
- Not the best selection of graphics settings.
- The character creator is very basic.
- Default controls are very fiddly.
- You land up holding down the commander’s vision a lot as it’s so hard to know what breaks despite looking the same as the last one you opened.
- So much loot you get early on cannot be used by your character so it doesn’t seem fair that I am in essence getting punished.
- Combat just happens where you are, nothing is cornered off, it can make some encounters hard because of the scenery blocking or how hard it is to make things out.
- The game doesn’t keep the audio settings and they reset every time.
- No voicework.
- The enemy turn in combat is slow and staggered.
