Vylan is a tile-based platformer with a huge emphasis on time. You get a timer and you must finish the level before it ends! Going for a minimalistic approach Vylan is as basic as it comes but does it play well? Welcome to our Vylan review and let’s find out!

Vylan Review Pros:

  • Controller support.
  • Platformer gameplay.
  • Graphics-fullscreen or windowed.
  • Timer-can add bonus time or turn it off completely.
  • Basic tutorial for controls.
  • Minimalistic soundtrack.
  • Simple controls.
  • 100 levels to play through.
  • Fast frantic action.
  • Reflex based.

Vylan Review Cons:

  • No Steam achievements.
  • Controller support is in-game but you have to figure out the buttons as all prompts are keyboard-based.
  • Bare minimum graphic settings.
  • No leaderboards.
  • Lacks replay value.
  • Doesn’t explain all the mechanics and triggers in-game very well.
