- You can play with bots aswel as other real-world players.
- Challenges – both daily and vehicle ones, completing these will grant rewards, and you can see them on the challenge criteria boxes.
- Waaagh! Path and Ere we go! is a battle pass-like system where you earn exp and unlock rewards. You select which Battlepass path you go through. They are free in-game passes with no premium version.
- Full 3D game world arenas, and you have 360-degree camera control.
- There are seven leaderboards – Scrap Loota, Girls Chosen, a speed Creek, Bomb Runna, Morks Chosen, Wazza fiend, and sawbonez.
- The goal of the Kill Konvoy game mode is to pick up one of two bombs and drive into the enemy’s ever-advancing Stompa.
- Deff Rally is where you score points by capturing the ever-spawning capture areas or Krumping (destroying) other players.
- Has the Ork clam vehicle skins to unlock.
- Excellent voice work and captures the true gruntiness of the Orkz.
- Scrap is the game’s EXP, and you can earn boosters to speed up the unlocks.
- Levels are huge and have many routes and ramps, etc, to find and use.
- Many badges to earn, and they pop up in-game when earned, as does challenge progress.
- Controls are tight, but only after you get used to the left stick to move and the acceleration mechanic.
- Unlock and equip different abilities onto your vehicles.
- Open world game option is cool as you can play this solo or online, what it does have aswel is you can press a button to drop down markers to create race tracks, it’s simple and easy to use.
- It is a lot of fun.
Warhammer 40000: Speed Freeks Review Cons
- Tutorials are just videos, and the controls are a pop-up.
- Games roll straight into another one, and you cannot quickly back out.
- The game length is long and always feels like it overstays its welcome, but this is more so when you are in an uneven match.
- Aim assist is fine, but it could be stronger.
- There are Ork Squadrons above shooting down, it is a missed opportunity that you can’t have real players piloting them.
- Takes a while until you start actually customising your Ork and vehicles, where you feel somewhat unique or different.
- I would like the option or button press to skip who killed me segments, more because I just want to get back in there.
- The Ork clanz skins are unlocks which sucks as it would be cool to represent starright away.
- Needs more game modes and areas.
- There is no single-player game mode or story.
