Bohemia Interactive Showcases Imaginative Lineup at Gamescom 2025
Bohemia Interactive, the studio behind titles like Arma and DayZ, arrived at Gamescom 2025 with its most diverse portfolio to date. The company showcased a wide range of unique titles, reflecting its ongoing mission to support imaginative games developed both in-house and through its publishing label, Bohemia Incubator. The lineup features everything from a new dimension-shifting adventure to updates for its flagship military simulation.
This focus on unique and daring concepts highlights Bohemia Interactive’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of what a gaming studio can be. Rather than just focusing on their established franchises, the company is actively fostering innovation and supporting indie creators, and the Bohemia Interactive Gamescom 2025 lineup is a testament to that.
New IP: Cosmo Tales & Everwind
The biggest news from the show floor was the reveal of a brand-new IP, Cosmo Tales. This highly stylised action-adventure game introduces a unique dimension-shifting mechanic, following a 14-year-old protagonist and their talking sci-fi car on an episodic journey through vibrant and distinct dimensions. The game’s unique premise and visual style set it apart, and a public demo is expected soon.
Gamers can now wishlist the game on Steam.
Another standout title is Everwind, a first-person RPG and sandbox survival game. Everwind allows players to explore a procedurally generated world of flying islands and airships, offering a mix of immersive exploration and dynamic systems. The game supports multiplayer co-op PvE gameplay, a feature that will surely appeal to fans of open-world survival adventures. A public demo is also on the way for Everwind following its exclusive showcase at Gamescom.
Arma Reforger and Other Updates
For fans of military simulation, there were major updates on Arma Reforger. Bohemia Interactive revealed details about a gritty new map, Kolguyev, and a significant upcoming feature called HQ Commander. This new feature will bring strategic coordination to multiplayer, adding a deeper layer of tactical gameplay. These updates demonstrate the studio’s commitment to continually enhancing the Arma experience and offering more options for players to engage with the sandbox.
Other titles also made an appearance. Silica, a hybrid FPS/RTS, announced it would be coming to consoles next year and showcased its gamepad compatibility.
The emotional adventure platformer SpaceTail: Every Journey Leads Home has returned under the Bohemia Incubator label with an updated version.
Lastly, Knights of the Fall, a sci-fi 2D platformer with time-manipulation mechanics, showed off its very first demo.
The sheer variety on display from Bohemia Interactive proves the company is a major force in the industry, supporting both major projects and independent visionaries.
