- Action adventure gameplay.
- Opening tutorial area and then pop-ups as you play.
- A full 3D game map and you can place your own markers.
- Melee and ranged combat, aiming ranged is a twin-stick shooter control system.
- A highly detailed game world full of vibrant colors.
- Shapeshift is where you can get the spirit of an animal or creature and then become them when equipped.
- Each creature has its own skill tree for new abilities and buffs.
- Ai and Co-op partners can jump on you as creatures and fight alongside you.
- Loot chests can be found.
- Big boss encounters.
- Maya is your AI assistant in the game.
- Loadouts for your creature can hold a ranged weapon and an accessory, whilst you can dual-wield weapons, a ranged weapon, a helmet, and an armor piece.
- Earn exp and level up to get points to put into – power, fragmentation, stability, battery, and element.
- Weapons and armor have a level and rarity to it and this makes it really easy to know what is better than the other and equip them.
- Great voice work.

- Stamina/energy goes down with running and fighting.

- With the right stick, you can aim obviously but you can also swirl it fast to do crazy actions.
- Fantastic fantasy-themed locations are full of secrets and wide open.
- The mini-map fills in with objectives and points of interest.
- Save when you want.
- Find checkpoints all over the world.
- Food plants will heal you whether you are a creature or a human.
- Cool slow motion kills on bosses.
- Buy and sell items at the vendors.
- You can take on many optional side quests, you have full quest management.
Coridden Review Cons:
- The mouse cursor stays on the screen even when using the controller.
- When using a controller I couldn’t get many of the graphics drop-down options to work.
- Early game the stamina is so small that combat becomes a real pain.
- Slowdown and stuttering happen a lot more in built-up areas.
- You cannot pause the game even when playing in offline mode. (I found you can but it’s a faff as you have to bring the map up and then press a button)
- The world is beautiful and open but there is just no reason to explore it all as it’s empty and doesn’t have secrets or chests.
- The loot management is simple enough but you check loot a lot and it’s kind of tedious.
- It’s not always clear with its mission markers which makes it a chore.
