TT Games Announces LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight
Warner Bros. Games and TT Games have officially announced LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, a brand-new action-adventure game celebrating the 86-year history of the Caped Crusader. Developed by the team behind LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, this new title promises an epic journey through Gotham City, all wrapped in TT Games’ signature humour. The game is set to release in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

The game is a “love letter” to Batman fans, pulling iconic moments from films, comics, and television to tell the definitive story of the Dark Knight’s origin. Players will be able to play as a young Bruce Wayne and, as the story unfolds, build a family of allies including Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, and Catwoman to take on a rogue’s gallery of villains like The Joker, The Penguin, and Poison Ivy.
All-New Gameplay Features
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight introduces several new features that will change the way you play. An all-new dynamic combat system focuses on fluid attack chains and takedowns, giving Batman a more distinctive fighting style than in previous LEGO games. For those looking for a real challenge, the game also offers a new “Dark Knight” difficulty setting.

The game takes place in an immersive, open-world Gotham City, giving players the freedom to grapple, glide, or drive through the environment in a range of Batmobiles. Players can also customise the Batcave to display vehicles and collectables and unlock a variety of Batsuits, including a special Golden Age Batsuit inspired by Detective Comics #27.
