Romancing SaGa -Minstrel Song- Remastered International Gets a December 9 Release Date
The legendary RPG Romancing SaGa -Minstrel Song- Remastered International is finally coming to Western audiences, with Red Art Games announcing an official release date of December 9, 2025. This new edition will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4, bringing the classic title to a new generation of players.
What makes this release especially significant is the addition of French, German, Italian, and Spanish localisations for the first time in the game’s history. This is a monumental step for the franchise, allowing many new players to experience the acclaimed story on an even deeper level. Both Masanori Ichikawa and Hiroyuki Miura, producers on the SaGa series and the remastered version, expressed their excitement for the release and thanked the fans for making it possible.

Physical Editions and New Features
In addition to the digital release, Romancing SaGa -Minstrel Song- Remastered International will receive totally new physical editions for both Europe and North America. These editions are designed as a tribute to the SaGa franchise, with a range of versions from the Standard to the Collector’s Edition, which includes a steel case, artbook, and more. The game itself, which is a remastered version of the 2005 PlayStation 2 title, has been updated with full HD graphics, new playable characters, enhanced bosses, and quality-of-life improvements like a High-Speed Mode and a New Game+ mode. The free scenario system remains at the core of the experience, allowing players to choose from eight unique protagonists and weave their own stories across the land of Mardias.
